Trip Down Memory Lane

Let's take a trip down memory lane.

Remember how we were lied to about weapons of mass destruction and Sadam Huessein being an immediate threat to the United States?

Remember everytime Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld or any republican congress person spoke of Sadam Huessein they tried to link him to 911?

Remember the smoking gun coming in the form of a mushroom cloud?

Remember that 911 happened on Bush's watch and he sat befuddled in a classroom reading about a pet goat and did not take any action for fear of upsetting the little children. Remember these were the same children that he posed for a photo op in front of that same day he did speak about our nation being under attack. Or was he waiting as planned all along for the entire plot to unfold?

Remember that George W. Bush has done business with the Bin Laden family and that his father George H. W. Bush was at meeting withone of Osama's brothers and the Karlyle Group on the morning of 911?

Remember how we were going to be treated as liberaters in Iraq and how the Iraqi people were going to bring candy and flowers to our soldiers? Remember the IED's that have killed and injured so many brave and heroic American soldiers instead?

Remember "Mission Accomplished?" Remember that photo op? Remember that they tried to fool you into believing that Bush actually piloted that plane that landed on the aircraft carrier which they tried to get you to think was in the Persian Gulf when he was actually only a short distance from San Diego.

Remember Rumsfeld said that he doubted that the war in Iraq would take even six months.

Remember when George H. W. Bush promised the Iriqi people that if they revolted against Sadam Huessein after the first and justified Gulf War that we would have their backs. And then of course we did not have their backs and 10's of thousands of them were killed for uprising. These were the citizens that Bush and the republicans envoke when they justify overthrowing Sadam Huessein so that they could murder 100's of thousands of these same Iraqi people. Do you think that if 10's of thousands of us rose up and tried to overthrow this Bush regime that we would not be slaughtered in the streets? Heck, they won't even allow fair elections here in America anymore.

Remember how this war was going to not only pay for itself with oil but bring a surplus. The surplus has been to Haliburton, Kellog Brown and Root, and the entire energy industry.

Remember how much gas prices have risen since Bush and the republican controlled congress and the illegal envasion of Iraq began?

Remember the surplus our federal government had when Bush and the republican controlled congress took complete control?

Remember how low the minimum wage was when Bush and the republican controlled congress took office? Remembering this one is not too hard because it is still the same.

Remember the next time you hear one of them lie to you about the majority of citizens receiving minimum wage being teenagers that reality says that is not true.

Remember that every election time the republicans tell you how they are against gay marraige and abortion. Remember too that they have had complete control of all branches of government for 6 years now and abortion is still legal and there is no anti gay marriage amendment.

Remember how much health care costs have risen during the Bush and republican controlled congress's reign.

Remember how the filthy rich (lie to yourself if you must but you will likely never be filthy rich) keep getting richer and the middle class is becoming obsolete.

Remember the number of times you saw Bill Clinton and Hilary leaving Church after a Sunday service and they still do while you will not be able to remember one time that you have seen George and Laura Bush leaving Church after a typical Sunday service.

Remember the Bible says to be aware of the Devil in sheeps clothing.

Remember that Jesus spent his time on earth helping others, the poor, the sick and the outcast.
Remember that the only refernce to Church and State that Jesus made was "render unto Ceasar that which is Ceasar's and render unto the Lord that which is the Lords." This was Jesus ordering us to keep church and state separate!

Remember Jesus said judge not least ye be judged.

Remember that by Jesus's actions he was much more likely to be a Democrat than a hate filled, heartless, greedy, murdering, lying, steeling and cheating republican.

Remember the next time that you fly anywhere that the cargo flying with you has not been inspected for bombs while Bush and the republican controlled congress have many of you fooled into believing that they are stronger on national security.

Remember that our borders are still not secure.

Remember that a guest worker program is designed to ensure cheap labor for the rich corporate friends of Bush and the republican controlled congress.

Remember that the only other time that an amendment to our constitution was written to take away rights from the American citizens (prohibition) it was later over turned.

Remember that at lease as early as the 1940's the republican party has been trying to suppress the vote.

Remember that Bush and the republican controlled congress always acuse their political opponents of doing the dirty deeds that they themselves are actually doing instead.

Remember that hate is not a family value.

Remember when Jesus said "thou shall not kill" that included brown people.

Remember how our illegal envasion of Iraq was going to stablize the region? Remember the war going on the past few weeks in that same region between Hezbollah and Israel? Does the region or Iraq for that matter seem stable to you?

Remember that helping to fight a civil war in Iraq does not protect our democracy. Remember that the Shia in Iraq are closely aligned with Iran and the Shia are the majority in Iraq. Remember that the Shia won the most seats in the Iraqi Parliment.

Remember that by killing innocent babies, children and women in Iraq that we are creating more terrorits than we would ever be able to kill.

Remember about 3,000 innocent Americans were murdered on 911 by Osama Bin Laden and his followers and Bush and the republican controlled congress have disbanded the forces that was looking for him. Remember that Osama not Sadam was responsible for 911. Remember that Osama is still free and nearly 3,000 brave and heroic American Soldiers have been killed so that Bush's friends could get rich off of an illegal war.

Remember Bush promised no litmus test for judges and then his parties litmus test for Harriett Meyers? Remember how much the republican controlled congress screamed for up or down votes on Roberts and Alito but sang a different tune when it came to a female Harriett Meyeres.

Remember how Bush and the republican controlled congress got the federal government involved in the Terri Schiavo family matter?

Remember how much the republican party has left you if you were a republican and remember how much you have been screwed over by the republican party in the past six years.

Remember to vote Democrat in the 2006 November elections before it is too late.

GAO Report on the DHS

Did you see the General Accounting Office's report released yesterday on the Department of Homeland Security? In a nut shell it exposed all of the financial waste committed by the DHS. Americans are being billed for elaborate golf outings and lavish elevators just to mention a couple. Contractors over charging was the norm rather than the exception.

I thought the republicans stood for smaller government. The Department of Homeland Security is a new worthless ghastly expensive layer to our already inept government. Since our borders are still not secure, most of the cargo on passenger airlines is not screened and our nuclear power plants still are not protected to mention a few I believe Bush's new layer of bigger government should be called The Department of Homeland Insecurity and Waste.

As Bush's Poll Numbers Drop Terror Level Rises

Doesn't it seem interesting that every time Bush's poll numbers hit their lowest, you know around 30 - 33 percent, the terror level rises? Is it really that easy to fool those stupid 30-33 percent? That's a rhetorical question because it is obvious that it is.

Last week Joe Lieberman lost the Democratic nomination for Senate. Even though Connecticut is a very liberal state this was a strong message for the republican party. The overwhelming majority of American citizens do not support the illegal war in Iraq. On the same day that it became apparent that Lieberman would lose his bid (thank God that he did) a poll was released that indicated that 60 some percent of Americans believe the republican controlled congress has been a failure and that they intend to vote for Democrats in the mid term 2006 elections.

And what do you know. The very next day the alledged terror plot in London was foiled. Is this mere coincidence or desperate timing? I don't know. I don't know whether the alledged terror plot was real or a another desperate political maneuver. Even if it was real it was the British who foiled it with help from Pakistan, not Bush or the republicans.

Remember two things.

1. Hitler used Fear to help install fascism in Germany exactly what Bush and the republican controlled congress have been doing since....well you know how long.

And

2. Vote Democrat in the November 2006 elections to bring back some checks and balances to our government before it is too late.
